Advise to Nigerian Youths

If there is one thing. Just one thing today's African youths are to learn, I'd say it is the ability to focus and stick to one thing until it yields results.

African youths must develop the staying power to pursue goals and causes until it bears fruits. We give up too easily. We become too lethargic too easily. We want things served on a platter.

The fact that something fails doesn't mean it was fated to fail. Discard that retrogressive teaching that has been ingrained in you about destiny. What will be will only be if it is made to be. Nothing like 'Auto happening'.

Take your time to decide on something and decide to make a success out of it come what may. Don't abandon ship at the slightest emergence of turbulence or rough weather.

Crush that mindset of "if it was meant to be, it would have been". Stop embarking on incomplete goals, causes and projects here and there that you abandon within a few weeks or few months.

Go and learn the work ethics of the Asians (South-Korea, Japan, China, Singapore).

Even when it comes to social causes, we don't have the staying power of focus, diligence and determination to demand, pursue and attain one thing with logical conclusion. we are ever hopping from one cause to another.
